- the people had suffered for many, many years with the affliction--finally they found hope and healing power in Christ.
- they were humble, one leper came to Jesus and said, "If it be thy will, heal me." He knew Christ could heal him, but didn't know if it was the will of the Lord. He was patient, humble, and submissive.
- they had great faith. They knew a touch, a word, a command from Christ could heal them.
- it wasn't the fault of the parent, child, that they suffered; it was a way that they would come to Christ.
- Christ is the one where we find peace, hope, and healing.

The Healing Power of Christ
My youngest daughter suffers from seizures. Scary, yes, but I've also learned a lot about the healing power of Christ. As I have been reading in the New Testament about those he healed, these are some insights:
